Kitchen Remodel
Challenges: The challenges with this project were working with not only the small space, but two doorways, one offset window, and a walkway to the rest of the home.
Solutions: Using a tall pantry with roll trays on one side of the refrigerator and a panel on the other elevated this wall to have a custom built in look.
Other elements brought into the kitchen to maximize storage and elevate the space to a custom feel were: a blind magic corner, pull-out utensil organizer, cutlery divider in the drawer unit, maximizing space over the range with built in shelves/low profile blower, and a spice pull down wall cabinet. While this kitchen had space challenges, the client was open to exploring all the options and had fabulous ideas. An unique element that coalesced the kitchen was the tile. The Naval color from Showplace was the perfect match and was the “happy” blue the client wanted to feel.
